The Horizon Report 2007 was just released. From the NMC Website: “The Horizon Report 2007 is a collaboration between the New Media Consortium and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative and is based on a research-oriented effort that seeks to identify and describe emerging technologies likely to have a large impact on teaching, learning, or creative expression [...] Free Geotools points to two (free) applications that would allow to enter line and point shapefile data into a GPS unit. The GPS Trackmaker and the DNR Garmin Extentsion for ArcView. |
