GIS, mapping, and spatial reasoning are the focus of Latitude, NITLE’s GIS Initiative. It promotes the use of mapping and GIS for the purposes of developing and enhancing a spatial understanding of liberal arts curricula.
The NITLE Geographic Information System Initiative provides resources to get started with GIS. Including free online geographic information systems tutorials.
