Technology is highlighted throughout the JASON Project. Not only do students learn about the latest technologies scientists use in their research projects, but they also use a variety of educational technologies and technology skills as they solve scientific problems.

As they participate in Team JASON Online (the JASON Project gated, web community) or conduct a classroom investigation, students learn to select and use appropriate tools and technology resources to accomplish tasks and solve problems. They will demonstrate knowledge of current technologies and their impact on society, use tools, software, and simulations to support learning, research, collaboration and communication of concepts inside and outside of the classroom. All curricular materials correlate to the National Educational Technology Standards.
