Digital Labs
These multimedia game like modules allow students to manipulate
and interact with the material. Students can take on various roles,
helping the scientists to study glaciers, or the Alaskan climate.

ex: digital

Video
Short video clips provide students with visual representations of
the topics they study. Expedition scientists discuss specific topics
relevant to the project, such as arctic wildlife.
Connecting Students to Real Science

Expeditions
Interviews with Scientists
Text based interview transcripts provide students with background
on the scientists and their particular focus.
Live Chats and Ask a Question with Researchers
Students can participate in real time chats with the researchers
during the 2 weeks of the expedition. Transcripts of the text are made
available on the site.
