The Flapper I'm a Berkeley graduate with a B.A. in English and I work at Stanford as a computer system consultant, trainer, and doc writer. I used to actually be a hardware/software tech, which to this very day amazes me. Makes perfect sense, right---a Berkeley English major becoming a computer geek on The Farm? Go figure.
Triathlons are my hobby. Quite frankly, I'm a lousy triathlete, but I have a great time getting out there and doing the races. I'm a fair swimmer, strong cyclist (started out as a bike racer), and possibly the world's worst runner (if you ever see me run you will realize that it really is possible). I race Clydesdale whenever the opportunity presents itself, 'cause I'm 5' 11.5" and no shrinking violet, if you get my meaning. OK, so I'm an Amazon Woman.
Other things I love include old movies (could you guess?), vintage clothing (mostly stuff from the '20s and '30s), alternative music (still wear primarily black), and horses (don't have one any more, *sniff*, but some day when I'm rich.....).
Hey, any single, tall, rakishly handsome, well-educated, unspoiled, independently wealthy young gentlemen in their mid-to-late 30's out there? No? Oh. Darn it.
