The Tower of Hoover
by Anonymous

The Tower of Hoover stands over the Farm,
A sentinel ready to sound the alarm
Whenever the Faculty Senate agree
That words, not computers, should now be P.C.

The Tower of Hoover leans off to the right,
Avoiding what's left of it, save in a fight;
Deriding the liberals, scribbling memos
Rousing Republicans, damning all Demos.

The Tower of Hoover is crowded with books:
Both right wing and left wing are packed in its nooks.
With such information, it's always a riddle
Why more of its scholars don't stand in the middle.

The Tower of Hoover is phallic to some;
While others contend that it's like a sore thumb,
But while it remains, conversation is fuller --
Without it, the campus would surely be duller.
