Termanated:
a Sonnet
by Anonymous

I can't determine what it is with Terman --
It's engineered for engineers, I guess --
But libraries for techies get me squirmin':
The friction's in the diction, I confess.
While to their lot it's not so ill a bargain,
To me the language in the books looks odd.
It could be good for those who know the jargon,
But every peek is Greek to me, by God!
Though engineers may say that it's terrific,
No other man can quite make out the gist.
I'm certain Terman's very scientific,
But those not so inclined get kind of pissed.
I muddle through befuddled, though it might
Be otherwise for others, wiser -- right?
