Structural Restructuring
by Anonymous

A hundred years ago, we had
A campus whose condition.
Was rather fine. Today, it's sad,
But may be in remission.

Oh, tan's the color of our walls;
Red tiles form our roofing.
We've fissures running through our halls,
And some need weather-proofing.

Though funds are few to fix them right,
And Washington's assistance
Has hitherto been rather light,
There's hope now in the distance.

Our buildings have been through a lot,
From quakes to stormy weather.
It seems a wonder they have not
All fallen down together.

But all shall soon be hunky-dory:
FEMA has surrendered:
A happy ending to our story.
Nice to be remembered!
