Slogging Beneath the Backlog
by Brian Kunde

I'm quite beset by my backlog:
It slows my workflow to a jog:
I wouldn't wish it on a dog!
Why won't it go away?

It serves no purpose but to clog
My in-box, but I'm in a fog:
It piles higher, though I flog
Myself for speed, each day.

My life's no better than a frog:
I might as well just turn to grog,
For if I manage not to log
It done, there's hell to pay!
