Holy Meyer

Where did they find, do you suppose,
A taker, or a buyer,
For all the rows of dominoes
Cut from the walls of Meyer?

The holes rectangular they left
Now light its inner spaces
As windows, but who made the theft
Of concrete from their faces?

This holy building half is glass,
Which makes it very sunny:
Wherever went the missing mass,
What's left looks really funny!
