[Note from the co-editors of SUL News Notes: The following item, from an anonymous staff member at Purdue's Undergraduate Library, was submitted by Jill Otto, Falconer Library, who picked it up on one of the electronic lists.]

Purdue University Libraries barcoded in 1990 and we had a celebration when we finished. The celebration included food, songs, and skits. The Undergraduate Library staff sang the following, to the tune of "I'm a little teapot," as part of our "preformance":

I'm a little barcode, black and white.
Here are my numbers, here are my stripes.
When you find the book you think is right.
Just peel me off and stick me on tight!
