1.  SYSTEMS COVERAGE DURING THE HOLIDAYS

During the holiday weeks (Christmas Week and New Year's Week), there will be reduced staffing in the Systems department as many of the Systems staff will be taking time off.  However, as always, our normal emergency notification phone will be in operation. The purpose of the notification phone is to have a way of supporting the systems that are critical to library functionality, and is for use with any problem where rapid response is required.  It may be used during business hours as well as after hours. Call 5-9787, and select the option to leave an urgent message.  This will page the Systems staff person on-call.  Be sure to include the phone number where you can be reached, and a brief description of the problem. Phone calls for non-emergency problems should go to 3-9724.  Voice mail will be monitored during business hours.

We in Systems wish all of you a very pleasant holiday season!
