1. Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Booksale

Yes, Virginia, there will be a Booksale!

Yes, there will be a Booksale soon! Mark your calendars for Weds., May 14. I will be sending out details as the date approaches, but I can tell you we will be offering many treasures. Because it has been a year and a half since our last sale, we expect to have a larger than usual number of books for sale.

Once again, we will need plenty of volunteers for setup, staffing and cleanup. Send me a note giving interest and availability (I will put out another call in mid-April).

We are also seeking two-four enthusiastic new Booksale Committee members to help planning, publicity and coordination. If you can help out, let me know as soon as possible. (Nominations will be welcomed!) Finally, the booksale will be an opportunity to pass on those books that have been gathering dust on your shelve. We will gladly welcome additional donations, though we prefer you wait until shortly before the sale to bring us your unwanted books because of space considerations.
