New Serials Specialist in Current Periodicals and Microtexts

Please join with us in welcoming Maggie Gewecke to Green Library's Current Periodicals & Microtexts. Maggie has an MLS from Simmons College in Massachusetts. She had been working as a Reference/Serials Librarian at the University of London's Institute of Latin American Studies, before she and her husband moved to the Bay Area late last year. Maggie has not only traveled widely, she has actually been a resident of: Liberia, Nigeria, France, Venezuela, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands and, of course, the United Kingdom.

Math and Computer Sciences Library Update

The Mathematical and Computer Sciences Library will be closed on SUNDAY, APRIL 21, 1996, NOT NOT NOT Saturday, April 13, 1996, (as previously reported) due to an electrical outage.

LASU -- Last Chance

Just a reminder for those of you who have been agonizing over the LASU Bylaws ballot. The ballots are due to the LASU Secretary by 5:00 p.m. next Friday the 19th. If you haven't yet received your ballot by e-mail or you need one on paper (ask someone to print one out for you), contact the LASU Secretary at 3-2054.
