The program will include nine presentations and discussion sessions featuring thirteen speakers on a variety of topics, ranging from historical to technological. The last day of the conference will be a field trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium & Hopkins Marine Laboratory and Library. A tour of the Aquarium will be given to the group and will include some points of interest that are not usually seen by the public. Joe Wible will be our tour guide for the Hopkins Marine Laboratory. Those interested in learning about the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can sign up for a demonstration. Angela Lee, ArcView GIS trainer from ESRI, will be introducing the use of different government spatial data sources in GIS, the Internet Map Server, and a demo of the forthcoming new product: 3-D Analyst.
