Mary Ellen Kunde(4) (Maryette) was born August 23, 1936 in Yuba City, Sutter County, California, or in Yuba County, California, the daughter of Ernest Albert Kunde(3) and Mary ------ (Harshner) Kunde.

Maryette resided with her parents at 673 Franklin Avenue, Yuba City, in 1953 and 1954. She was a student during these years.

Maryette married, ------ --, 195- in ------, ------, William J----- Prater (Bill). He was born ------ --, 19-- in ------, the son of Ralph Waldo Prater and Bertha Myrtle (Davis) Prater.

Maryette was a lifelong resident of the Yuba-Sutter area. She was a clerk for the Sutter County Assessor’s Office for twelve years starting about 1986. She was also a member of the Yuba-Sutter Riding Club and the Yuba-Sutter Sky Club.

In 1988 Maryette was living in Yuba City. She was of Loma Rica, Yuba County, California in 1998.

Maryette Prater died September 1, 1998 at Rideout Memorial Hospital, Marysville, Yuba County, California, at the age of sixty-three. She was survived by her three children and eight grandchildren.
