Frances Mary Hunkey(3), born November 7, 1902 in Rockwood Township, Wadena County, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry W. Hunke(2) and Anna Clara (Mautasch) Hunke.

She married (first), ------ --, 191-, in ------, ------, William F----- Knuppel (Bill). He was born January 10, 1894 or 1895 in ------, -----, the son of ------ ------ Knuppel and ------ ------ (------) Knuppel.

Frances' occupation was cosmetologist.

Frances' and Al's Social Security cards were both issued in South Dakota.

Al's last residence was Mitchell, Davison County, South Dakota 57301. He died June --, 1976 in Mitchell, Davison County, South Dakota, and was buried in Wadena, Wadena County, Minnesota.

Appendix.

After his divorce from Frances, William Knuppel married (second), on ------ --, 19-- at ------, ------, Viva Irene Stone (Vi). She was born September 14, 1911 or 1912 in Sparta, Alleghany County, North Carolina, the daughter of Floyd F----- Stone and Mary Suffina (Andrews) Stone.

William's Social Security card was issued in Minnesota.

Viva's Social Security card was issued in California.

From at least 1951 through 1953 they were living at 686 Guerrero, San Francisco, California (in Apt. 2 in the latter year). William's sister or perhaps sister-in-law Bertha Knuppel lived nearby, at 690 Guerrero, Apt. 5. In 1954 William's residence was given as Boyes Hot Springs, and in 1955/56 as Sonoma. During these years he was working for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in San Francisco. His position was described as markerting specialist in 1951, the person in charge of the Poultry Grading Division in 1953, area supervisor of the Poultry Grading Section in 1954, and area supervisor in the area office of the Poultry Grading Branch, Agricultural/Marketing Service, in 1955/56. Viva was a typist for the General Services Administration in 1951.

Viva Knuppel's last residence was Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California 95405. She died April 15, 1986 in Sonoma County, California, at the age of seventy-three years.

William Knuppel's last residence was Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California 95405. He died June --, 1986.
