Clara Lena Hunkey(3), born November 2, 1901 in Rockwood Township, Wadena County, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry W----- Hunke(2) and Anna Clara (Mautasch) Hunke.
She married, December 4, 1919 in Wadena, Wadena County, Minnesota, Giles Ernest Blair (Red). He was born June 28, 1889 in Wadena, Wadena County, Minnesota, the son of William Blair and Zillah Catherine (Hess) Blair. His father was a native of Canada, and his mother of Iowa. Giles was a farm laborer.

In January, 1920 Giles and Clara were living in a rented house in Wadena, Wadena County, Minnesota. Giles’ occupation was given as farmer, retired.
Giles left the family shortly after the death at age 5 of Jean Ann, his favorite among among the children, on November 14, 1932. Clara raised her remaining six children by doing laundry in the community. Her occupation was home maker.
Clara's Social Security card was issued in Minnesota.
After leaving his family, Giles Blair lived in Moscow, Latah County, Idaho, from about 1942 until his death in 1952. In 1952 he was employed at the Anderson farm on route 3 in Moscow. His home was also stated to be on route 3.
Giles Blair died on the morning of Tuesday, February 26, 1952, aged 62, at either his home or the Clarence Anderson home on route 3 in Moscow, Idaho. Services were held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 29, 1952 at Short's Chapel, the Rev. E. P. Goulder officiating. Pallbearers were Eddie Iverson, Bill Hoke, Al Peterson, Ed Anderson, Arnold Anderson, and Kinsey Hofer. Burial was in Moscow Cemetery, Moscow, Idaho. His grave bears a marker with the following inscription:

Clara Blair died March 24, 1991, aged 89, in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and was buried March 29, 1991 in the Blair family section of Calvary Cemetery, Wadena, Wadena County, Minnesota. Her grave bears a marker with the following inscription:
