Dautin August Eckers(3), born February 25, 1905 in ------, Hennepin County, Minnesota, the son of John C----- Eckers and Minnie (Kunde) Eckers(2).

In 1920 he was living with his parents on Minnetonka Avenue, St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota. He was attending school at that time.

Dautin married, about 1923 in ------, Esther Olivia ------. She was born April 18, 1897 in ------, Minnesota, the daughter of ------ ------ and ------ (Rundquist) ------, both natives of Sweden.

In 1930 Dautin, Esther were lving with Dale and their second child in a house at 7116 Minnetonka Boulevard, St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota, next door to Dautin’s parents. Dautin owned the house, which was valued at $4,000. He was employed as a machinist in the newspaper industry. Dale was attending school.

Dautin’s and Esther’s Social Security cards were both issued in Minnesota.

Dautin resided in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota through at least 1957. In the latter year his and Esther’s residence was given as 2834 Quebec Avenue South.

He worked as a machinist from at least 1936-1942. In 1936 and 1937 his employer was given as the Journal Printing Company; in 1940 as the Minneapolis Star Company, and from 1941-1942 as the Minneapolis Star Journal & Tribune Company. In 1957 Dautin was working at a linotype machinist for the Minneapolis Star & Tribune.

Dautin's last residence was Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota 55426. Dautin A. Eckers died March 8, 1970 in ------, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

At the time of her death, Esther was described as being formerly of 3505 Texas, St. Louis Park. Her last residence was Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota 55426. Esther Eckers died February 8, 1973, aged 75, in —, Hennepin County, Minnesota. She was survived by her two sons, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Visitation was after 5:00 P.M. Friday, February 9, 1973 at Billman’s Park Funeral Home, 3960 Wooddale, Minneapolis. Services were at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 1973 at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 26th and Highway 100, St. Louis Park. Interment was at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal, Minnesota.
