The Business Of Outsourcing - Critique

Concept

I think you've picked a good subject area for your site. There's a lot to the outsourcing issue, and a lot of people definitely don't understand it beyond the simplistic 'they took our jobs' perspective. However, you may want to think a little bit about how you want to present yourself. You mention in some places that you want your site to be an unbiased source for information on the subject, but it seems pretty clear that you're in favor of the idea. Especially if you go through with your plan to partner with outsourcing companies, I think it would seem a bit disingenuous to claim neutrality on the issue. Instead, you might consider presenting your page as an advocacy website designed to convince the audience that outsourcing can be hugely beneficial in many situations.

Business Plan

In general your business plan is great. You clearly put a lot of work into analyzing the market, and I especially like your chart of 'Observable Trends'. I do think that you should spend a bit more time considering your target audience. Are you just aiming your content towards the average educated person? If so, you might want to restructure your site a little bit so the readers aren't overwhelmed when the get to the first page (I've been meaning to do this for my site as well). Similarly, you should think about whether you want to target business leaders who are looking into the issue of outsourcing. If you want to earn revenue from partnerships with outsourcing companies, you should definitely give this audience some thought.

Website

The site has a nice layout and is easy to read. However, I think the text could use some work. There are many places where you use somewhat awkward phrasing, and there are also several instances where you misuse colloquial words or phrases (for example, 'hotbed' is not generally used as an adjective). Depending on your level of experience, you may want to seek out one of the writing tutors available at Stanford to go over the written portion of your website and point out places that need work.

Other Suggestions

As you begin to add more content, you should give some thought to how you want to organize the resources you present. You're tackling a lot of diverse topics, and users may be turned off if they are presented with a bunch of articles they aren't interested in. For example, someone who is considering temporarily outsourcing a process for the next 5 years most likely does not want to read your predictions as to how Indian society will look in 20 years. This goes hand in hand with figuring out the precise types of audiences you want to target. Once you figure that part out, it should be relatively easy to organize your content along those lines.
