News...
  • Create a special news items section or page including important dates, upcoming deadlines, test dates, field trip information, etc. In order for news to be effective in disseminating timely information, the content needs to change often and readers need to be reminded to check.

Teaching assistants personal homepage links
Encourage interaction with teaching assistants by providing links to their personal homepages.

Class roster
Encourage online communication and collaboration by providing a class roster with mailto e-mail links and their full e-mail addresses. Consider short biographies about each student.

Copyright
State your concern for or interest in copyright as it applies to the materials included in your site. You may wish to add a simple copyright symbol (©) and date to the footer of each page to advise users. If you wish to include the work of other Web authors, obtain permission directly from the author or find the permission statement within their site. Include a credit line containing a link to the site where the image or text was obtained.

Internal links
Incorporate links to other pages within your site for reviewing information on various topics and to reinforce classroom instruction.

Glossary
Create a glossary of terms as defined in the context of the course. Provide hyperlinks to online dictionaries, online references or other explanatory works.
