a course calendar as a separate Web page from the
syllabus. Place a prominent link to the calendar on
the syllabus page. A table provides a good format
to organize the calendar information, which could
be based on time elements, such as daily class
meetings or weekly topics. Include the academic
week number, lecture or discussion topics, and
assignments with due dates. Use hyperlinks for each
assignment as a cross-reference to the same item on
