Check For Completeness

The Check For Completeness is a great tool. Whenever you click this link in the left hand column, it generates a list of required fields that must be filled out before submitting your protocol.

Each item on the list is a hyperlink that will take you directly to the page with that field. When you click one of these links, it will close the Check For Completeness popup and take you to the page that needs to be updated. You can return to the updated Check For Completeness by clicking this item in the left hand column again.

Once all of your required information is complete, the Check For Completeness will display the message "Protocol Form is complete. Please close this window to return to the application form and submit the Protocol."

For any field that doesn't apply to you, just put "N/A". If there's a field you know you need to fill out, but want to come back to it later, leave it blank and the Check For Completeness will help remind you.

Submitting a Protocol

When you're ready to submit, click the Submit button in the left hand column. If you have not completed everything on the Check For Completeness, the Check For Completeness will display with any outstanding items rather than allowing you to submit. If the form is ready for submission, a confirmation box will pop up asking if you're sure you're read to submit. You will not be able to do further editing on your protocol once it is submitted.
