Chair of the Advisory Board, Undergraduate Advising and Research

I created and run the Student Advisory Board of Undergraduate Advising and Research in the VPUE's office. We can be reached at ual.stanford.edu.

Member, Committee on Undergraduate Standards and Policy, Faculty Senate

I am student representative to the over-arching committee on undergraduate standards and policy. Our charter can be found at the Faculty Senate.

Member, ITSS Advisory Group

I also serve on the Advisory Group for Information Technology Services at Stanford. ITSS is the central information technology organization on campus, supporting faculty and students, research and academics.

Chair of the West Coast, Presidential Scholars Alumni Association

The Department of Education runs a program to identify and honor the top graduating high school male and female in every state. Presidential Scholars receive the Presidential Medallion from the President in a private ceremony in the White House. As an alum of the program, I run the Stanford/West Coast chapter with the kind support of FDO.

Founding Advisor, Students with Disabilities at Stanford

I helped create and lead the student liason group to the Disability Resource Center. The group's current president can be reached at JoeKay {at} stanford {dot} edu.

Former President, Freshman-Sophomore College

I was also president of FroSoCo, the best dorm -- and academic experience -- for freshmen and sophomores at Stanford.
