cockpit view

This shows the very tired gel coat in the cockpit coaming and starboard seat.  Instruments....two magnetic compasses which agree remarkably well with each other, depth and knotmeter.  Both of them work. The transducers are up forward below the v-berth.

The lazarette hatch is "new" but is from the stock mold. Why they didn't match the color, I have no idea.  The backstay adjusts with a 24 to 1 cascade. Thhe white wire is the antenna lead for the SSB radio. You can see the brackets for the windvane and emergency rudder on the transom.  Some of the extra hardware on the cockpit coamings is for the windvane, ditto for some of the stuff on the tiller.  The funny little pillar next to the boat brush is for the autohelm 2000 autopilot. The "pillar" unscrews and can be put away so that you don't have to sit on it. Just the base place is left when that is done.  The tiller stick adjusts in length.
