SpectraLink Wireless Pocket Telephone (SPT)

Overview

The SpectraLink Pocket Telephone system is limited to Stanford Hospital; Packard Hospital; attached buildings in the Medical Center Central Core; East Pavilion; B, C, D, E, F pods; Boswell; Grant; Edwards; Alway (Science); Clark Center; Cancer Center; LPCH Clinics (730 Welch); Lane Library; and Jordan Quad.

How to Order

Phones and Supplies

Stanford Hospital staff and Packard Hospital staff should contact their Department IT Contact to order telephones, batteries, chargers, and accessories from SpectraLink. The Department IT Contact will order through the Hospital purchasing agent (Natekia West, 8-5597).

Other departments (University) can place orders for telephones, batteries, chargers, and accessories directly with Polycom SpectraLink Sales at 800/676-5465.

Service and Activation

For service activation, please submit an online order at the OrderIT, choose Voice Services, and click New Wireless Pocket Phone Service. For more information about getting access to or using the IT Services Site, see the help pages at OrderIT Help.

All orders must include:

  • activation date requested
  • serial number of each SpectraLink set
  • integration with the Stanford voice mail system
  • whether the SpectraLink will have a unique telephone number or an MDN (multiple directory number)
  • account number for billing installation charges
  • account number for billing ongoing monthly charges
