WebAuth 3.1.2 Announcement

The ITSS WebAuth team is pleased to announce Stanford WebAuth 3.1.2, a bug fix release. This release fixes a variety of internal bugs in the LDAP module and a problem with reverse proxies in the basic WebAuth module.

Stanford WebAuth 3.1.1 was an internal-only release containing bug fixes for the weblogin server.

In this release, we've also updated the pre-built version of Apache to Apache 2.0.46 and updated the version of OpenSSL to 0.9.7b. Pre-built binaries are, as before, available only for Solaris 8 and 9 at this time.

The user-visible changes in this release are:

• mod_webauthldap has several bugfixes, supports multiple virtualhosts, and has better memory utilization and thread safety improvements.

• Correctly construct the return URL for reverse proxies.

• Ported to Solaris 7 with gcc 2.95. Basic WebAuth (but not LDAP) ported to AIX 4.3.

• Fixed HTML_TEMPLATE_ROOT in src/webkdc/logout.fcgi script by changing the path to relative instead of absolute.
