Voice Mail for Faculty/Staff
Voice mail is used in nearly every environment at Stanford, from enhanced multi-mailbox systems serving large clinics and academic departments to temporary private mailboxes for conference attendees. Information Technology Services (IT Services) has developed Stanford's voice mail services far beyond message-taking—especially in administrative and clinical environments.
On May 17, the University (5-0000) voicemail system was moved to Stanford Voice Messaging. The legacy system, in place since 1986, will soon reach its end of life; vendor support will end in 2011. The Stanford Voice Messaging system replaces the current system.The Hospital and Medical Center (3-1111) will be transitioned to the new system sometime later this year.
