Remote Computing Facility

This service is always available, but requires secure terminal access or remote display; console access is not allowed.

The remote computing facility hosts 66 computer systems in six classes:

Terman Engineering Center

This public computer lab is located in rooms 102–104 of the Terman Engineering Center. It is administered by the School of Engineering and shares console operating hours with the Engineering Library, also located in Terman; remote users may connect at any time. Print services are available at this location.

Regular Hours

Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Sunday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

Intersession Hours

Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Summer Hours

Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

The Terman lab hosts 35 computer systems in a single class:

Gates Computer Science

This public computer lab is located in room B08 of Gates Computer Science. It administered by the School of Engineering and is always open to all users, but physical access is protected by a card reader; console users may be required to swipe their University ID card to obtain access. Remote users may connect at any time. Print services are available at this location.
