(Cable TV & PBN Services)

Visit the following web sites to disconnect your service:

  1. To disconnect cable TV and/or PBN Services, go to Axess (http://axess.stanford.edu). Look under "My IT Services" and click on the My IT Services button. Important: Make sure you "checkout your cart" to finalize the disconnect request.
  2. To disconnect your in-room network connection, go to http://rescomp.stanford.edu.

Please review the instructions below for disconnecting optional subscription services when you leave campus at the end of the academic year. These services include cable TV and personal billable calls (PBN).

Undergraduate Students

If you have subscribed to any optional billable services provided by IT Services—cable TV and PBN—you are responsible for their disconnection if you leave before the end of the academic year. (Note: Stanford provides each on-campus residence with a basic telephone, and there's no need to worry about disconnecting this basic service.) Please see the table below for how to disconnect your services.

A note about PBN: Your Personal Billing Number (PBN), for international long distance and other billable calls such as directory assistance, remains active for your entire stay at Stanford. If you will be returning to Stanford, you should not disconnect your PBN service. If you are leaving the University, see the information below.)
