Service Changes and Cancellations

Only the subscriber can change or cancel service in your room.

To change or cancel service, place your order at your “My IT Services” page in Axess. For detailed instructions on “My IT Services,” see myitserviceshelp.stanford.edu.

When changing or canceling service, note the following:

  • Only the student listed as the subscriber for a particular service may change or cancel that service. Requests completed by a student other than the listed subscriber are not processed.
  • The listed subscriber continues to be responsible for any charges incurred until IT Services receives his or her request to cancel the service.
  • The listed subscriber is billed a service charge to add a feature package. There is no charge to remove a feature package.
  • Once received, a request to change or cancel service may take five to ten business days to process.
  • Subscribers to digital cable TV must return the digital cable box to their Student Service Center:
    • Escondido Village housing service center, 859 Escondido Road
    • Florence Moore housing service center, 436 Mayfield Ave.
    • Governors Corner housing service center, 589 Governors Ave.
    • Lagunita housing service center, 326 Santa Teresa St.
    • Stern Hall Housing service center, 618 Escondido Road
    • Wilbur and Mirelees housing service center, 658 Escondido Road
    • Manzanita housing service center, 661 Escondido Road
