Registration Information

Annual registration for TechPort starts September 1, and goes through August 31st of the following year.

Register with STAP funds

If you are using STAP funds, you can register online for TechPort at STARS, the Stanford Training And Registration System.
(See below for more information.)

ITS-0611 is the course code for "TechPort -- Online Technology Training for Stanford".

Register with Department, Hospital Tuition, or Personal Funds

If you are using department funds or a personal check to pay for TechPort, do not go to Axess to enroll. Instead, fill out the paper training registration form available at: http://www.stanford.edu/services/techtraining/form.pdf

Please allow up to one business day for your registration to be processed. You will receive a welcome email with instructions detailing how to use TechPort after the registration process has been completed.

To enroll in TechPort using STAP funds:

1. Go to http://axess.stanford.edu and log in.
   
   

   

   
   
   
2. Click the Training tab.
   
   
   
   
3. In the STARS menu on the left, click Search Catalog.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Advanced Search.
   
   
   
   
5. In the Code field, enter ITS-0611, then click Search.
   
   
   
   
6. Follow the instructions to enroll.
