Tips & Tricks
Have you been using the new Stanford-wide
Sundial calendar for awhile? Have you wanted to use
it but haven't gotten around to it yet? Are you moving
to Sundial from another calendaring system? Are you
confused about the terminology used in Sundial? Do
you have questions about the calendar's features? Then
this session is for you! Mark
Branom will review such
topics as getting started, meetings, resources, groups,
setting preferences and access rights, and dealing
with other people's agendas. There will also be time
to answer your questions. You are encouraged to go
to http://calendar.stanford.edu before attending this
Tech Express to download the Sundial client to your
desktop and familiarize yourself with the calendar
by reading the Quick Start Guide and/or viewing the
How To Videos. |

Software
Licensing and Purchasing at Stanford
Stanford Procurement and ITSS Software
Licensing team up to explain the ins-and-outs
of software purchasing at Stanford. Find out answers
to questions such as: What is the least expensive way
to buy Microsoft and Adobe products? How can a faculty
member get that special software he needs for his teaching
or research? Can students buy software for their personal
use? Join us for answers to these and other software-related
questions and learn what our departments can offer
you! Download Robin's PowerPoint
presentation here. |
