To see complete course descriptions or to enroll in courses, search the STARS catalog:
1) Go to the Axess portal at http://axess.stanford.edu, and log in.
2) Click on the "Training" tab. (Note: If the "Training" tab is not present on your page, click the "My Home" link instead.)
3) Click on "Search Catalog."
4) Click the "Catalog Items" tab above the search.
5) Type in the course title (or first few words of the course title) in the "Title" field, then click "Search."
6) From the results, choose the course of interest, and follow the instructions to enroll. [Note: "Add to Plan" does NOT enroll you.]
If you are paying course fees using your STAP funds, then you will be able to use this online system. HOWEVER, if you are paying wholly or partially using University department, Hospital Tuition Assistance, or personal funds, you will be not able to use STARS at this time. Please download and fill out the paper registration form found at http://techtraining.stanford.edu/form.pdf and fax it to 725-0995.
