Support

This package is available for all platforms. Supporting this package is a high priority.

Description

DBMS/COPY directly reads and writes the native binary files for over 80 packages. DBMS/COPY doesn't stop there, you get record filters, variable subsetting and powerful computational capabilities.

DBMS/COPY takes care of all the hassles in transferring data including: dissimilar numeric types, date variables, time variables, null value and variable name truncation. Problems with free and fixed format ASCII files disappear with the ASCII Data Dictionary Builder. The Spreadsheet Grabber enables you to visually grab data from anywhere within the spreadsheet. Complex SQL queries can be created with the friendly ODBC query builder. You can use the built-in batch processing to automate repetitive transfers.

The above is taken from the DBMS/COPY brochure.
