Description

This package is only for old versions of Tcl. For the current Tcl package, see Languages/tcl.

Tcl is a popular embeddable and extensible scripting language that also works closely with the Tk GUI extension. Tcl can be embedded in other applications, and is often used to integrate disparate software technologies, including GUIs, middleware, existing software components, and Internet and networking protocols.
