Xmgr 4.1.2

Summary

Description: Motif-based data plotter, replaced by Grace
Source: http://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/Xmgr

Support

This package is available for all platforms except Linux AMD64. This package is unsupported and provided on an as-is basis.

Description

ACE/gr is a 2D plotting tool for X Window System. It uses an OSF Motif-based user interface, which is the reason why it's also known as Xmgr. It supports many user-defined graph functions, a batch mode for unattended plotting, regressions, splines, running averages, cross- and auto-correlation, and many other data analysis tools and has support for dynamic module loading.

Note that this package is now frozen and has been replaced by Grace. The installed version of Xmgr is the final release.

xmgr doesn't work on AIX or Digital Unix; when run, it dies with the message:

    Error: Cannot perform malloc

This appears to be true of all versions, back to the oldest xmgr that we had built. It is therefore not installed on those platforms.

Files

   Programs: grbatch xmgr
       Base: /usr/pubsw/apps/xmgr/4.1.2
       Docs: /usr/pubsw/doc/Data/xmgr
