sc 6.21

Summary

Description: Very simple spreadsheet program
Source: ftp://pc.usl.edu/pub/unix/

Support

This package is available for all platforms. This package is unsupported and provided on an as-is basis.

Description

The spreadsheet calculator sc is based on rectangular tables much like a financial spreadsheet. When invoked it presents you with a table organized as rows and columns of cells. Each cell may have associated with it a numeric value, a label string, and/or an expression (formula) which evaluates to a numeric value or label string, often based on other cell values.

sc was one of the first Unix spreadsheets and is showing its age. It is no longer actively developed. It will be maintained in pubsw for the use of people who have lots of saved sc spreadsheets, but it is provided on an as-is basis only.
