MySQL Clients 4.0.14
Summary
Description: Clients and libraries for MySQL databases
Source: http://www.mysql.com/
Support
This package is available for all platforms. Supporting this package is a medium priority.
Description
MySQL is the most popular open-source database, designed for high speed but also supporting full transaction semantics if desired. It is widely used for web applications that need efficient but lightweight relational database storage.
No MySQL server is provided, only the clients and client libraries. In order to use MySQL, you will have to run your own server; we currently do not provide a central MySQL service (although we are investigating doing so in the future).
