The following index covers all software packages installed in pubsw (the campus-wide software tree) or /usr/sweet (the licensed software tree available only to the systems in Sweet Hall), broken down by category and package. Each package also has its own documentation page with additional information, including a URL, a long description, and a complete list of files included in the package. (If more than one version of a package is installed, the primary installed version is listed.)

The name of a package doesn't always match the name of a software package as distributed. In particular, most of our package names are in all lowercase, and we remove special characters from package names, remove hyphens, and sometimes shorten the names. The full name for a package should be available on the package's own documentation page.
The software in the Sweet category is only available on the Sweet Hall cluster machines (including the Meyer satellite cluster in Meyer 160). All other software is available to any Stanford campus machine mounting pubsw. Some software, particularly software in the Licensed and Kerberos categories, may require that the user authenticate to AFS before using the software.
If there is an additional software package that you would like to see installed, if you feel that an installed package should be given a higher (or lower) priority than it currently is, or if you have any other questions, please submit a HelpSU request.
