Welcome to PeopleSoft Concepts and Navigation. This is your first step on the path to becoming a skilled PeopleSoft user at Stanford University.

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Grasp the basics of the PeopleSoft system structure
  • Log in to PeopleSoft
  • Navigate PeopleSoft menus, component groups, and pages
  • Describe the types of Effective Dated information
  • Search for people in the database
  • Get help with PeopleSoft when needed

Everything you learn in this course will help you build the foundation for future PeopleSoft training. Once you know how the system is structured and how data is stored within it, you will better understand how to get what you need out of it.

Navigation is similar to other web pages. The title bar shows the name of the course and current lesson. Use the Menu at the top of the page to select any of the lessons.
