Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I want to sign up for Net-to-Switch?

The Net-to-Switch program provides you the freedom of locally controlled TSO activation while also freeing you from having to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the network switches. Paying a flat monthly fee, you won't have to worry about budgeting for new network equipment every few years as the equipment ages. Additionally, should there be any network-wide problems that are beyond the ability of your local desktop support team to troubleshoot, expert help is only a phone call away.

Why would I want to switch from Net-to-Jack (N2J) to Net-to-Switch?

In the Net-to-Jack program, you every time you activate, deactivate, or move a network port, you're charged a fee. Additionally, you have to wait for a technician to be dispatched to activate, deactivate, or move the closet cable. In the Net-to-Switch program, you no longer need to pay those fees as your local support team will have the flexibility to quickly activate, deactivate, or move ports as necessary.
