In addition to standardized “Category (Cat) 5” wiring jacks, IT Services can provide various customized jacks with outlets for telephone/data services, SUNet computer networking services, and SUNet video services. Note: A request for a jack installation requires field work by a technician. The department is responsible for providing a clear path from the telecommunication closet in the building to the new jack location.
