Frequently Asked Questions — Bible Sheets

Service Overview

BIBLESHEETS are created for every campus building showing communication outlet (TSO) locations as well as TSO numbers. Clients use these building drawings to designate the new TSO/office location that staff move to when they submit service orders for phone activations. Bible Sheets are available for copying in Forsythe Hall Room 165. Bible Sheets are created and maintained by IT Services Facilities Engineering staff in Puichon Hall.

Cost of Service: There is no cost to provide bible sheets to clients

Turn around time of request: Clients are expected to come to Forsythe-165 to make their own Bible Sheet copies from filed masters. If a request is submitted to IT Services via the IT HELP DESK, Bible Sheets will be copied and mailed to clients via ID Mail as time permits (allow 3-5 business days for copying, 3-5 days for ID mail delivery)

Required information from client: If Bible Sheets are to be copied and mailed by IT Services staff, clients must provide: name, phone number, ID Mail Code, Bldg Location, List of Bible Sheets Needed using Qd-Bldg #s

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where can I get drawings for my buildling?
   Printing of bible sheet drawings is a self service available from the cnscad web site, http://cnscad.stanford.edu. Access is granted to all faculty and staff of Stanford University only, a SUNet ID is required.
   
   
2. I am not faculty or staff, can I still get drawings?
   Non faculty/staff that need access to http://cnscad.stanford.edu will have to:
   1. Secure a full or basic SUNet ID
   2. Submit a HelpSU request to http://remedy-pre.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/helpsu2?pcat=Bible requesting to be added to cnscad workgroup (this will give them access to the site).
   If the bible sheet drawing is restricted, a login page with instruction will come up instructing the user to fax an access request form (located on the site) to Relu Vasiliu at 650-725-7970. Upon approval, the user will be provided with a password (verbally) to access the site.
   
   
3. How can I get a biblesheet updated?
   For client modifications to bible sheet drawings including room numbers, wall changes, etc., send a HelpSU request to http://remedy-pre.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/helpsu2?pcat=Bible. Be sure to include the name of the person responsible for validation of changes. I&M will validate the change.
   
   
4. Do you Charge for Bible Sheets?
   No, not if you make your own copies. Large volume copying by IT Services may incur a charge based on your specific request.
