Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.6 for 64-bit Windows XP Computers
This Essential Stanford Software installer for Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.6 does not work on 64-bit Windows XP computers. Symantec has a separate version that is compatible with the following 64-bit processors:
- AMD 64-bit Opteron and Athlon
- Intel® Extended Memory 64-bit Technology (EM64T)
It is for use as an unmanaged client and the server implementation is not supported.
To install the 64-bit version of Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.6:
- Click here to download the 64-bit version of Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.6 (the file is in .zip format).
- Unzip
the contents to a new folder.
- Double-click the setup.exe file to begin the installation.
