Description
This flie can be used to open a Samson session on the Spires computer, the host Unix machine that runs Spires, Prism, and other legacy applications from the Forsythe mainframe.
System Requirements
- Supported Operating System: OS 8.6 to 10.x
- File size: 1.4 MB
- Requires Samson 5.2 for OS X or Samson 5.1 for OS 9.x and earlier
Notes
- When you have downloaded the installer, double-click on the Spires Installer icon.
- For OS X, a small file is installed that will will allow a connection to Spires from the Connect menu.
- For OS 9.x and earlier, the installer places a spires.stanford.edu icon on the desktop. There will also be a Spires selection from the Connect menu.
