Turning Off the Cache Setting (recommended for Administrative Applications)
  1. Start Internet Explorer.

  2. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.



  3. In the left column under Web Browser, click Advanced. (Click the triangle next to Web Browser to list its options if necessary.)

  4. In the Cache section for Update pages, click the Always radio button.

  5. In the Cache section for Size, enter 0 (the number zero) in the Size text box.

  6. Click OK to save your settings.

Setting Internet Explorer as the Default Browser
  1. On the Apple Menu, select Control Panels then click Internet.



  2. Select the Web tab.

  3. Set the Default Web Browser to Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  4. Close the window.

  5. If you are asked if you would like to save the settings, click the Save button.
