About Thunderbird
Thunderbird is a standards-based email client produced by the Mozilla Foundation. It is an open-source software project built by a community of developers. It does not offer an integrated email and calendar experience out of the box, but can be paired with another Mozilla project, Lightning, to incorporate calendar data. (Note: Lightning is still under development and is not supported by Stanford.)
