Target Audience - System Administrators/Network Administrators who are responsible for setting up clusters (machines that will be accessed by multiple individuals) machines in schools or departments.

Scope

Scope - Solaris 8 or 9, Linux, MacOSX.2.4 or above -

Hesiod is no longer supported by ITSS. Those who wish to convert services of NIS or Hesiod to posixAccount on LDAP need to follow the instructions availabe by following one of the side links.
