WebAuth Privileged Permissions
WebAuth is Stanford University's web-based authentication system.
WebAuthPrivileged provides a standard set of data to its client webservers, regardless of privacy setting upon the data. It also provides suUnivID to its clients. Clients tend to be official Stanford ventures and must get explicit written approval to use this data from the appropriate data owners (see Access Policy Guidelines).
Privacy-filtered data is returned by the WebAuthGeneral identity and may be preferrable for applications that don't need to see data regardless of privacy settings. WebAuthGeneral access also requires data owner approval, but the bar for that approval is lower.
